Keunseok & I want to do a day tour-thing outside of Chiang Mai; both of us know how to ride bikes pretty well, but I’m freaked out about just taking off on our own because my bad luck would cause us to get lost.
Do I keep looking for some ridiculously priced tour or should we just do our own thing and pray that I don’t cause us to drive off a cliff and die? Also biking up to elephant camps or something, tips on those.

DON’T DO A TOUR. Rent a little motorbike for like $5 USD per day and just go. It’s an easy area to navigate. I’ll PM you with more info.
